FIVE FILM PROJECTS AND COUNTING
WHAT WE DID
Senior-led from first call to final grade, with compliance built into the schedule rather than bolted on at the end. The approach was to put real clients and real colleagues on camera in their own words, rather than script the trust and hope it read. Across five films, covering client stories, a culture film, executive pieces and event coverage, Modus has become IFX's standing production partner. Every film is held to the same standard: broadcast-grade craft, pointed at a commercial job, made by a director who understands what a regulated payments business can and cannot say on camera.
THE CHALLENGE
IFX Payments moves money across borders for businesses that have to trust their provider completely. The audience is senior finance: CFOs, treasurers and heads of operations, the people who actually sign off on switching providers. They are sceptical by default, short on time, and they have sat through every generic promo going.
IFX had a genuinely complex proposition and no consistent way to show the human side of it. They had tried the generic route before and it had not landed. What they needed was film that made a cautious audience believe in the team and the platform behind the numbers, stood up to compliance, and did not look like everyone else's corporate video.
THE RESULT
The films are working assets rather than archive. IFX's sales team uses the case-study films directly in pitches and follow-ups, where they have become a standard part of the deck. They ran on the stand and across social channels at both Money20/20 and Pay360, the two largest events in IFX's calendar. The culture film has become part of how IFX brings new people into the business, in onboarding and in recruitment.
The commercial shift is in the sales cycle →
Ryan adds that the client case-study film became one of IFX's most-watched pieces of content since they began investing properly in video, and that the sales team credits it in several closed deals.
